| Come rock with us this Summer! June 10-14 Green Day vs Blink 182 Campers will learn some of the most popular songs from Green Day and blink 182. In addition, they will learn about the pop rock genre including the history, fashion, list of band and stage moves. At the end of the week, campers will put on a live performance. Great for students ages 7-18 of all playing levels. June 24-28 Classic Rock Rewind Campers will learn the music of 60's and 70’s rock icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones in our Classic Rock Rewind summer camp. In addition to songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on a stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction. July 15-19 Best of the 80’s The 80’s were one of music’s most iconic decades for rock. Come celebrate bands like Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses, Def Leppard, Journey and more. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 80's, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students ages 7-18, who have had some previous instruction. July 29-August 2 History of Metal No notebooks required! Learn hands on the music of classic early heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motorhead and Metallica. In addition to the songs, students will learn about the early evolution of heavy metal, and the impact these bands had on later genres. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students age 7-18 with little previous instruction required. August 12-16 Southern Rock Campers will learn the music of classic Southern rock bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, 38 Special, and The Eagles. In addition to songs, students will learn about Southern rock and the many bands that pushed the genre when it exploded in the 70’s. At the end of the week they will perform a live show. Great for students 7-18 years of age, who have had minimal instruction. |
