| Feb 2 DCS Hawks 5K Run/Walk this Village |
| DCS is hosting its first ever 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, February 2nd (note the date change) from the DCS campus running through Miami Shores neighborhoods. Online tickets are available at https://give.classy.org/DCS-5K . Early registration ends on January 25th with student tickets @$15 and adult tickets @$25. Complimentary t-shirts will be available for every entry and medals will be awarded for overall winners as well as age group winners. | Come join us for the 3rd Annual Art Show & Urban Oasis Farmers Market on February 9, 2019 from 2-6 pm. at the historic Log Cabin in the Village of Biscayne Park. The Log Cabin will be filled with Fine Artists exhibiting paintings, sculptures, fiber art, graphic art, and photography, and Artisans will be displaying hand made products, fair trade tunics, jewelry, aromatherapy and more. The Farmers Market vendors bring wonderful food, baked goods, and international wares. In this special venue you will enjoy our Bird Sanctuary, butterfly gardens, and the new Mosaic and Talavera tiled handmade benches. Refreshments are served and all proceeds and donations will fund The Mosaic Bench Project. |
