| You are cordially invited to attend StartUP FIU’s Demo Day on July 11, 2018! Demo Day is an important milestone for Cohort I of our Proof of Concept Studio. By this day, our teams will have successfully completed our six-week pre-accelerator program. Join us as each team presents their pitch and prototype! Schedule: 5:30 p.m. – Registration 6:00 p.m. – Opening Ceremony 6:30 p.m. – Pitches 8:00 p.m. – Event Ends About StartUP FIU: StartUP FIU is an initiative focused on developing traditional and social entrepreneurship among students, faculty/staff, alumni and the South Florida community. The Proof of Concept Studio is a six-week pre-accelerator program designed for early stage entrepreneurs who want to move from idea to prototype. Teams undergo sprint sessions and mentor hours on a weekly basis to advance their business idea and prototype. Those who successfully complete the program are given the opportunity to pitch their problem, solution, and prototype in Week 6. Where to Park: Demo Day will be held at StartUP FIU’s Innovation Hub in the MARC (Management and Research Center) building. We suggest finding visitor parking in Lot 3, Parking Garage 1 (Gold) or Parking Garage 2 (Blue). When driving to FIU, it is best to use the SW 107th Ave. and SW 16th St. entrance. |
