| Ellie's Army Foundation is excited to be hosting our 3rd Annual Watermill Trading Dirty Socks 5K Run & Walkathon both virtually and in-person this year! The costs associated with having a sick child are tremendous, often financially crippling, Under the weight of ever-mounting medical bills, many families struggle to afford basic living expenses (i.e., rent or mortgage payments, electricity, food, etc.). Now, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many parents have lost their jobs. Many, too, find themselves unable to work outside the home for fear of bringing the virus home to their already compromised children, a virus that could likely be a death sentence. Ellie’s Army Foundation seeks to alleviate the financial burdens of these families by providing help where it is needed most. At the Watermill Trading Dirty Socks 5K Run and Walkathon, we will come together as a community to raise money for these families. The event is going to be a blast!
