MOCA at the Library

Event Description
Brockway Memorial Library is teaming up with the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in North Miami! The “MOCA at the Library” program is a series of FREE after-school contemporary art classes for TEENS ages 13-17 held at Brockway Library. These art classes seek to engage teens in the vibrant world of contemporary art and are taught by professional artist, Melanie Olivia. The classes will be offered for 8 weeks on Tuesdays: March 1, 8, 15, 29 and April 5, 12, 19, and 26. The classes will be held in–person at Brockway Library, 10021 NE Second Avenue, Miami Shores. This program is offered as an outreach to the community, presented by the Teen Art Force at MOCA, and funded by the Miami Shores Community Alliance.
